This sunny Easter day we headed to the Beehive Couloir in the Gallatin Range. Got sunburned, and skied thick heavy powder that probably would have been great 4 hours earlier!




D and I needed a break from the facets and work @ home, so we headed to the Selkirk Mountains of southern B.C. and Kootenay Pass.  We found five days of super powder skiing and even a day of sunshine for exploration.

Alex and I got out for another long day in the mountains. This time it is California Ice in the East Rosebud drainage of the Beartooth Mountains of southwestern Montana.  11:44 hrs of fun and grovelling.
